CONSOLIS a leading European industrial group specialised in the design and manufacture of high-performance precast concrete products. Asia Tents Arena was commissioned to design, fabricate, and commission bespoke relocatable steel structures to be used for curing, assembly, and warehouse shelters for reinforced concrete pipes. These pipes are laid in seabed to abstract sea water to cool turbines for a power plant that is being built at Pork Dickson, Malaysia.
The following are dimensions for various structures:
• Curing Shelter – 7m Width x 18m Length x 5m Side Height
• Moulding Shelter – 10m Width x 20m Length x 10m Side Height
• Warehouse & Assembly Shelter – 26m Width x 78m Length x 10m Side Height
• Curing Shelter Extension – 8.5m Width x 6m Length x 8m Side Height
Some of these structures are specially designed and engineered to withstand lifting loads of overhead hoist on the ridge.
The project took a total of 160 days to turn around and was successfully delivered on schedule. The client was extremely pleased with Asia Tents Arena’s high level of professionalism displayed in delivering this project.
